Well, I’m not sure if I can truly label this a “tutorial” since I failed at my vision of a colorful stamped leaf print. I do manage some essence of autumn during the process and in the final result, however. If I were to attempt the stamping again, I would go with a white background and/or leave more blank space between the leaf prints. I overlapped too much and lost the defined shape of the leaves.
If you like the final design, you can create it without all the effort of stamping. Just horizontally or diagonally stripe your nail red near the base, orange in the middle and gold near the tip, and after the paint dries, draw the leaf detail with a black nail art pen. Once the black polish dries, finish with a top coat to seal the design.
I plan to post more seasonal nail art soon, but for now, class dismissed!
